The Manchester Riverwalk Board of Directors and the Manchester Riverwalk Committee thank all who voted "YES!" for Article 4 on Town Meeting Day. This non-binding vote recommends that the Select Board commit some funding ("up to $95,000) to the Riverwalk Bridge project. Nearly all our donors have asked if the Town of Manchester has any stake in the bridge. They (the donors) want to know that the Town is enthusiastic about the project and is willing to back it. We Riverwalkers believe that this show of support from the town will encourage others to come forward and donate, too. Fingers crossed that we will get to the finish line soon.
