The Riverwalk Committee are folks who are interested in supporting the work of Manchester Riverwalk and who are invited to attend the monthly meetings, on the first Tuesday of each month. Participating in the Committee is a wonderful way to become involved in the Riverwalk without a huge time commitment. Committee members also get to help shape the way the Riverwalk develops. Our Active Committees

In addition to the affiliation known as the Riverwalk Committee, we have active committees that are pushing forward with goals to bring Riverwalk to life. If you would be interested in joining any of these committees, please write to info@manchesterriverwalk.org or fill out the form below.

Communications Committee: Responsible for all press releases and announcements about Manchester Riverwalk.

Design Committee: Guides the design of any projects within and enhancements to the Riverwalk.

Development & Grant Writing Committee: Directs all aspects of fundraising, including grant-writing.

Eco-Restoration & Landscape: Administers needs related to removal of invasive species and replacement of with native plantings; also plans and designs the grounds within the Riverwalk.

Legal and Governance Committee: Supervises all aspects of legal concern and membership performance.

Partners and Stakeholders Committee: Oversees the camaraderie between Manchester Riverwalk, its abutters and any interested parties.
