Earth Day is April 22nd  and the theme for this year is “Invest In Our Planet.” The focus of Earth Day is to raise awareness and accelerate solutions to combat climate change and activate everyone to do their part. You can help do your part by participating in Manchester Riverwalk’s Clean-Up Day along the West Branch of the Battenkill on Friday, April 22nd from 4-6 pm. Rain date will be Saturday, 4/23 from 10am-12pm. Meet at the Friends of the Sun parking lot at 159 Depot Street. The plan is to pick up trash and remove debris. Join us in helping contribute toward Earth Day’s Great Global Clean-Up while enjoying the beauty of the river area.

Please bring work gloves, rakes and/or garden shears. We will provide trash bags. We look forward to seeing you there!
